This Melben is located inside Goldkist Resort. So unless you have a car or you run/cycle past there, you wun locate this outlet at all. Not very prominent I would say. Brulee made reservation for 4, but I guess no reservation is required since this is how it looks on a Friday night. As compared to the AMK/TPY branch...I reckon they need more advertising for their business. Ohhhh..I did ask what's the difference btw this outlet from the AMK one. The Staff told mi they are actually the same family, just different brothers. Hmmmmmm....so much of a difference :SSSSSS

Saturday evening spent w The Amazing Spiderman & Sin Heng Claypot Bak Kut Teh before movie. Brulee complained that it is not The Amazing Spiderman afterall, it seems The Draggy Spiderman to him -.- He nearly fall aslp...whereas, on the other hand I find it quite entertaining though there are a few draggy parts. Prefer the modernised version lehs...hehehe :)Back to food post. Had our dinner settled at Sin Heng Claypot Bak Kut Teh at Joo Chiat. So far this is the BEST bak kut teh i tried. Not too pepperish for my liking & the soup is very tasty. The bak kut we ordered are also big & tender :) Furthermore the staffs are quite friendly & they serve the food very quickly, like arnd 5mins waiting time only.
Basically there are 2 different kinds of soup, the normal pepper soup & their herbal soup. The normal pepper soup comes with only bak kut but the herbal soups comes with a mixture of bak kut & other pigs innards. Prefer to have more bak kut, thus we chose the formal. Ordered the medium size claypot, & it comes with 6 pcs of bak kut. Soup is also filled to the brim (refillable once; in fact the first round of soup is enough to fill you up). Yum tum tum~~
PS: the large claypot comes w/10 bak kut.
We also ordered the Claypot Pig Innards Dry as the side-dish. Actually we ordered the small intestines, but the boss heard wrongly & gave us stomach :/ Still tell us he tot we said stomach when we mentioned "fen chang"!! Very similar mehhhhh??? -.- Anw, we just make do with it though he offered to do an exchange. The gravy is very thick & tasty....very suitable to eat it with your rice. Even though it is a small claypot, we were given alot of innards, which are cooked perfectly. A MUST order dish!! :DD
