Non-Stop Eating Part 2

Sometime back B & I visited Symmetry for our dinner date after work.

Once again, very thankful for my walking GPS..we're able to find this place. Honestly, asked me to find this place again, I doubt I can find it :P My poor sense of direction honestly... :O

Anyway, I would recommend visiting this cafe for brunch/lunch anytime over dinner. Much more affordable & more fulfilling. Do note that brunch menus are not available during dinner timing (*disappointed*) & dinner menu will obviously be slightly more costly.

Their interior of the cafe looking quirky with all the empty alcoholic bottles & posters.
Very small cafe; so do make your reservation, esp during Brunch!!

OOOOO..I REALLY LOVE THAT THEY SERVE COMPLIMENTARY CHILLED GRAPES!!
I LOVE SEEDLESS GRAPE!!!
if only it was 1 glass of grapes per pax *huff*

B's ice latte

Pork Cheeks Pasta
The dark brown piece at the right side of the plate is the pork cheeks, which is soft & tender. But I don't really like the taste of it >< Prefer B's Cod Fish anytime.

B's Cod Fish
This is YUMMMY!! But definitely not recommended for big eaters like both of us ><
NOPE, they don't serve you 2 pieces of Cod Fish okay!
The cod only comes in ONE pathetic pc, & it is the one on the left of the plate.
Well, the one on the right is some cauliflower patty, which tasted equally tasty.

Obviously, ordering only 1 main course each doesn't satisfy our hunger.
Moreover, the dinner is costly just for 2 mains & 1 latte.
With the amount spend, we can have much satisfying food.
Nevertheless, we will still drop by for brunch someday.
It should be much better :')

Shabu Sai - Japanese Shabu Shabu & Sukiyaki, eat all you can steamboat buffet, which is located at the 8th floor of Orchard Central. Just a few walks away from Kiseki Japanese Buffet.

A recommended Japanese steamboat buffet!!

Soup Base: With 6 different kind of soup base (Seaweed, Sukiyaki, Spicy, Curry Dashi, Tomato and Tonkotsu Shoyu) to choose from, I'm sure there is one that suits your taste-bud :)

Meat: Choice of Pork/Beef/Chicken - My say is TRY ALL cos all are good. Love their beef & chix especially.

Drinks Top-Up: "Cheapskate" us opt for only 1 serving of free-flow drinks top-up & soft serve ice-cream. But we shared it among ourselves. Is free-flow what. Ordered one serving each for what? :p

The wide choice of vegetables, noodle/mee, seafood & sauces.
Cool "mist" is blown to the ingredients to ensure the freshness of the food.
They do have a small variety of cooked food, which I din manage to take any pics.

Free flow of hot beverages.
Cold beverages are available upon order :)

We opted for the Spicy & Tonkotsu Shoyu soup base.
PS: If you find the soup a lil' saltish, you can add in water (available on your table).

My all-time preferred "sauce" for Shabu Shabu.
Cooked the meat, remove & dip into the egg immediately.
Yummmmmm....

Our free flow of soft serve ice-cream :D

Nasi Briyani
I only "learn" how to enjoy this dish few months back & I'm hooked!!!
I always thought that briyani is very dry & will taste too strong for my liking (becos of the herbs used).
Man, I'm so wrongggggg!!
With the curry over...this is the 3rd indian dish that I have eaten after Prata & Indian Rojak, & I'm so loving it!! Woooo Hooo~~Thank You Baby for introducing me this dish ah :p

Prata with Sugar (over curry) anytime, pls!

THIS DURIAN PUREE IS HEAVENLY!!!!
Of real durian meat & it taste bitter sweet.
I can have this for dessert anytime!

SUPER LOVE the BIG (it is really BIG) & runny eggs from Coffee & Toast.
Officially my fav la-milo place now.

Durian & Kaya Swiss Roll from Rich & Good Cake Shop.
2 of their signature flavours.
Soft & flavourful.
I heard their Orange is good, shall try it next time :D

Lastly, my complimentary D24 Durian Oreo Mooncake from Emicakes & Irish Chocolate Black Tea from Allerines that I won from Velda's (LB) giveaway post.
Have yet to try the tea, but the mooncake tasted kinda exotic :SS
My say is, go for the SAFER choice - Pure D24 or Mao Shan Wang
